We were wide open and conceded three against Solihull, got bullied and conceded three at Chesterfield. Illness is hard to cope with but we've been in poor form for weeks now, since Christmas really. Walloping Barnet and beating poor Woking and Eastleigh, who both sacked their managers have masked that.
We have signed good players, Cameron, Lacey and Rawlinson are decent centre halves, Chicksen, Brindley and DKE good fullbacks. Wootton, RR, Roberts and now Sam all have goals in them and Palmer is a class above this division. I also like Vincent and Richardson.
In truth we aren't getting the best out of them and IB is either incapable of changing or is refusing to. Either way our away form is screaming out for something to change.

I wouldn't hold your breath. Tonight we put ourselves under constant pressure by continually passing the ball across the back when under pressure from their strikers. We do this time and time again and ultimately concede unnecessary goals.

Is this playing out from the back an IB obsession? Doesn't seem to have any alternatives and this style will not get us promoted. It is too easily sussed out.

I am begining to think it's our Owners who demand this style. Seen a few clips of Ardleys Solihull, playing a different style to when here.
That "Pep" style won't get you out of this league, the players aren't of that calibre & it's been sussed in the PL now

    Less than 500 Notts there.
    Probably tells its own story.

If we have to play, stick Doyle in, call the loanees back and play the kids. We’d understand that and get behind them.

What isn’t really fair on anyone is to put in 90 minutes where the entire team looks like they’re about to pass out, drag a few hundred of us up to watch it and then go ‘well, everyone was throwing up, what can you do?’.
Agreed. Never mind the ''integrity of the League'' and all that pretentious cr@p, how about player safety? Surely that is paramount? Not only for themselves but also the opposition, if they are suffering from a Covid/Norovirus illness they must surely pass it on to opposition players and their families? I still fail to understand why Notts didn't at least try to get the game called off if their was that much illness in the camp and if that request was refused, as Jacob sez, call the amateurs at the NL out on it, lets ev a tear up!!!

This all seems so obvious it’s difficult to work out why it didn’t happen, particularly when we’ve had so many questionable postponements this season. We played a game against Maidenhead under similar circumstances when Ardley was here and ended up losing which derailed a decent start to the season.

I think our obsession with playing the right way extends to how we do things off the pitch which is laudable, but maybe a bit naive.

Having just watched the post match interview with IB why the f**k wasn't the game postponed???!! Absolutely disgraceful player management, they should not be playing.
