If it wasn't for Jaros it looked like it could have been six, mind you we wasted a couple of good chances after rounding the keeper.

Shocking miss for the first, what you’d expect a half pi55ed number 9 on a Sunday morning to do.

First goal, shocking defending, the second goal for me shows what and why we need to mix it up, how long from their keeper kicking it until it ends up in the back of our net? For me that is why some teams are above us and way out of sight, you can't be a one trick pony in this league.

Yes, pub defending at its best from the long kick.

I hadn't heard this explicitly stated until you highlighted it, but I'm glad it's been made public. If our assessment was that we couldn't field a healthy team, and there was good evidence of this with players being physically ill before and during the game, then clearly the National League are at fault - yet again - and IB's reasons/excuses for the poor performances are legitimate.

It's fair comment that there are wider problems which have been evident even when our players weren't sick, particularly away from home, but if your players aren't fit to play then no amount of tactical adjustment is going to get around that problem and neither IB nor the team should be held accountable for the Stockport performance and result. We've evidently been shafted by the league, who have apparently neglected their duty of care to the players (and supporters for that matter).

To be fair if you ignore the poor(ly) defending their third, Madden's second was really well taken.

I'm not sure you can afford to be a one trick pony in any league. Maybe if you're Manchester City and have some of the best players in world, but even they're dropping unexpected points and being caught by Liverpool, who play a more varied style. It's a results business. There are no points awarded for style.
