Craig you are bang on with most of your questions and opinions but there are a few in here who will gang up on you because you dare to speak the truth.

If you dare to suggest we are mediocre (or worse) there are at least 3 posters who will argue we could be less mediocre if we had Harkes and Butcher in the team. Crazy logic.

It's f*cked up and to be absolutely honest this board has become f*cked up in its perverse defence of the current position based on how we are brilliantly more mediocre than the other teams. Who, by the way, will not f*ck up for much longer.

The head in the sand brigade have claimed this forum as their own. It's disappointing because I thought this board was open. It's not open any more. Questioning or dissenting voices will be drowned out. 4th place, get real . Get real. As GB says a second division Cypriot side would probably embarrass us.

And, by the way, I've watched all our games this season, every one, and we are absolutely sh1te. No clue. And I've been watching Dundee United FC since 1963.

Three people who have a different opinion on the Harkes/Butcher debate you mean? That's all it is, a different opinion. You're allowed that on a football forum.

Chick was shot down? I assume this is aimed at me? He in fact started the debate when I suggested we're disadvantaged this season without Shankland. I gave my opinion back, and quite rightly so, he did likewise. We didn't 'shoot each other down' we debated our opinions, disagreed and got on with it.

The board is very open. Everyone has a different opinion. This is what keeps the place going & makes it work imo. No one owns the board whatsoever.

As you've been reading the forum most days while you've been away, I'm sure you'll have noticed Craigbrew has a somewhat aggressive posting style and regularly attacks Shedkas views and opinions, along with recently calling ADS an idiot and a ****. I'm surprised you haven't mentioned this in your damming report of Utd Mad when you talk of guys ganging up, dissenting voices and folk being shot down.
