You have to admire Stewart though for keeping a straight line and maintaining our club stays as near to the black line as possible. Thing is though, you’ll never progress unless you’re willing to dip your toe that bit further.

It’s common knowledge Stewart puts in a million pound a year himself so, maybe he’s looking to recoup some of that from the £7.1 million he’s about to receive.

There’s improved wages to pay the players for gaining promotion so that comes out of that money.

More charges for extra policing for when the bigger clubs arrive at the NYS. The sums do start to add up. What budget Stewart gives Warne we’ll never know.

Will this be the year Stewart gets that bit braver?
