Had a drink up there 80 T/lira which is £4. A single martell brandy 500 T/lira which is £25. Didn't have a brandy.
At £25 for a single Martell brandy, with 40 x 25ml measures in a litre bottle, makes it £1,000 they get on a litre bottle. Robbing barstewards.

We used the bars on the front and then probably into Josef's for the last few, then wobble round the corner. Which is the Lukka??

Over water taxi bridge onto the promenade, turn right, & go right to the end, Lukka bar on the right, across from Obens restaurant, next to koca chalis village, next to Villa Berk Hotel.

Only talking about how much beer was when I 1st started drinking other day with my better half.
If memory serves me right Bitter was about 86p & lager 94p .
I remember the outcry when it went above £1..
If only it was that price everywhere now..I wish.

We use Joseph's bar a lot, was in last night a act flying in hopefully from U/K for a gig Friday in Joseph's, had to book a table. We also use Safir goldsmith for work done, making rings etc or repairs, also use Onur & Berlin jewellers. If anyone ever visits Calis beach, pronounced Chalis, keep away from Zumrut jewellers, done people on gold prices.

I moved house to live at Broom in 1983 and in the New Broom pub it was 50p a pint at that time. UTM

I celebrated my 15th birthday in Traveller's Rest in Swinton, when Jack & Daisy had it. 1 shilling & 10 old pence a pint. Canal Tavern for a Black Velvet cost 2 shillings & 6 old pence, otherwise half a crown, cider & stout mixed for a pint.

Think around 1983 could still get a pint for 19p in Ryecroft WMC, 50p in pubs.
