Ashley Westwood in the same period had scored 3 and had 6 assists, however, last season, only Cornet featured in more goals scored by us than Brownhill. Equal to him were Weghorst and Vydra.
It is fair to say that Brownhill has truly taken over the Jeff Hendrick mantra as far as Clarets fans are concerned, he will be better off leaving the club from his point of view.
You could all be right and I could be wrong.I would prefer if you compaired apples with apples Sub.What are his pass stats compaired to all the other midfielders in the clubs around us say Leeds,Everton,Newcastle,Norwich and Watford?

Kompany played a 4-2-2-2 at Anderlecht. Quite offensive. Believe he will try the same here. Wouldn’t try to predict the first lineup

CiB --I have compared him to those he played with. It is totally irrelevant to compare him to players from other clubs because yo uwould then need to compare every other Burnley player with every other player from the clubs which you suggest.
To be honest, I have far better things to do with my time than research things which are not immediately to hand ---Burnley stats are to hand so that is no problem.
I am sorry if this does not suit your agenda, however, I think that you will get your wish and you will not see Josh playing for us again.

I do not have an agenda Sub.My opinion is that Josn Brownhill is not PL standard regards his forward play.Anybody can wander round the centre circle passing a ball backwards, forwards and sideways to four defenders thereby accruing lots of passes but in 78 PL games 2 goals, four assists,2 big chances created, a shooting accuracy of 23% and a crossing accuracy of 32% is dire. His defensive stats are much better as we were mainly a defensive team.He could be great for us in the Championship but we need to offload big earners and if the right offer comes along get shut.Same applies to Cornet,Mcneil,Collins and Roberts.

l'm finding it a bit odd that so many of our big earners/high value players, the ones we need to ship out to balance the books, are still here. Are they staying or are they going ? So far we've managed to sell Pope and loan out Wout, Cornet, Roberts, Collins, Brownhill, McNeill still loitering on the premises presumably, taking a huge chunk out of the wage bill while waiting for the right offer. These players have been in the shop window a long while now, but they're still here and the big kick-off draws ever closer. Is this how it was meant to be, or has it all gone Pete Tong ?

The EPL clubs shot themselves in the foot by voting for a short window a couple of years back. They saw the error of their ways and now have until the end of August to sort out their $hit.

The four players you mention mon ami, Roberts, Collins, Brownhill and McNeil are all under contract and will quite rightly be drawing their wages.

The BIG question is, "How good is Alan Pace at poker"?

We need more strikers.Looks like Besiktas have nabbed our target to team up with the scarecrow.

The simple truth is he had not accumulated enough international caps to bypass the need for a work permit. Sad, but true.

So now our recruitment team knows to check that before spending a lot of time doing trying to sign someone. Hopefully...

Do we know what our high value players earn now after being relegated? I saw Crouch go through one of his contracts and he said it was standard that wages dropped by 40 or 50% if you got relegated. (Can’t remember if it was 40 or 50)
