Why is he a bad manager? Where were we when he got sacked? Who was it who almost saved our premiership survival with some good results?

To be fair Boingy - with that squad we should have walked that league. Wish we had that squad now as so much class and quality in it. Big Dave is like Bruce - team formations a mess and under Big Dave too many pals - Gayle on the wing along with HRK and Barry in the middle with no legs. The thrashing at Leeds was all down to Big Dave. Wednesday supporters saying the same about him - no plan B!!

Now Bilic - he should have been given more time and his only fault for as staying loyal to some of those who couldn’t step up - Livermore / Austin - Phillips etc although to be fair he was not allowed to buy anyone and had Hegazi sold under his nose!

It was the worst thing that happened to us those last games in the premier league. It was probably more to do with the players thinking we were already down and the pressure was off. It gave our owner a way to employ the cheapest option, someone who had never managed at ANY level,we are supposed to be West Bromwich Albion not Bilston Town, they may as well have given the job to me.
When players endorsed him to the board you knew they were in a comfort zone.
Gary Megson had few mates and anyone who crossed him was finished, fans favourite or not, but look at what he achieved in three seasons, and what he might have achieved if Peace had backed his transfer targets.

Spot on Des and 100% agree. The cheaper option still was Shan who parked the bus at Villa!

We should have kept Bilic. Given two seasons and he got us up in one. If you don’t back a manager with a large pot of money you stand no chance of progressing.
