It shouldn't require a grammar school education to work that little sum out mon ami, although I still don't know why they did away with them.
You obviously slept a lot in school mon ami.

We paid £1 million for Pope plus sell-ons, we paid 10 million for Collins plus sell-ons and £12 million for Cornet.

It might have escaped you sinkov, but to calculate a profit we must also estimate the cost of business. Your £35 million margin needs a deduction of around £25 million, but it's still better than a smack in the gob with a wet kipper...

Those transactions have already gone through the books mon ami. As it stands now, if we do those deals we collect £38 million and pay out £3 million, thus banking a profit of £35 million on the three deals you mentioned. We will be £35 million better off than we are right now now. Simples.

I have just had to correct a Stoke fan who thought the Potters were about to receive a £3 million pound windfall from the sale of Collins, he was devastated to learn Stoke City will only be getting 15% of the sell-on profit = £1,500,000 and NOT £3 million quid.

I wonder what we'll get off Wolves when/if they sell him to a top six club ? You'd hope they will have that in mind, but I'm not convinced our team are the sharpest knives in the box.

I understand we have inserted a 25% sell-on clause, which is rather magnificent - for us!

I think the crooks of this is he’s said he wants to come to us - the clubs position changes a bit then if all s quiet and he says nothing at the first offers all good , but when his agent says he’d like the move - I suppose it’s get what we can for him - no point having un happy players .

( Tarky the exception for us in that he agreed to
Run down contract and give his all - if he’d forced for a move he’d have had to go ).
