This whole left wing/right wing/middle of the road stuff is a red herring. It’s not as simple as that. The establishment prioritise the elite/ruling class/top 5% above the rest of us. The BBC are part of that. With the likes of Rees-Mogg at the heart of the current cabinet, this government is becoming more radical and extreme. According to Rees-Mogg, Victorian capitalists were “more Trollope than Dickens”. He also wants to abolish paid holidays and the minimum wage. This man is the new Secretary of State for Business and is a real danger to ordinary working people. But the BBC give him and the rest an easy ride. The whole political comment on the BBC normalises the Tories. They are anything but normal, but they are the essence of the establishment. Any real threat to the establishment (e.g. Corbyn) is systematically marginalised and destroyed. Left/right has nothing to do with it.
Here’s a BBC thing.

A few weeks ago they ran an article that said 4 out of 10 male Ukrainian refugees have found jobs

Terrific eh? Positive slant for that one

Much better than saying 60% haven’t got jobs.

Even today they reported a growth in the economy as “ not as good as expected”

That’s what they do, they peddle an opinion rather than just reporting the facts and numbers.
