When RAF Finningley closed, the airforce personal housing was used to accommodate refugees, I was working near the base. Bloke I worked with, his wife worked for Donny Council looking after them. Council laid coaches on for them to take em to Curry's, Dunholme etc, for them to pick their white goods, this, bedding etc, the shops were closed to general public when refugees visited shops all labour councils gave refugees £10 a week to put on their mobile phones. Mates wife called out many times early hours of mornings by police, refugees in Donny night clubs fighting, I told her she should have left them to stew, with her living in Gainsborough & going to cop shop at around 3am in a morning.
