I say this and I take the point it's from 12 miles away but he's held the job at the NYS an awful long time and you lads know way more than me on just how reliant you are on Warne .
I've experienced over here what can happen if you are manager reliant , when Val left for WBA we totally collapsed last season , to say the least .
Val was manager at Oakwell 9 months , Warne a good few years and by definition his DNA is all over your club , bound to be because that kind of service gives a manager way more influence on a club than your average boss whose tenure is far less .
I've never actually believed he was just a good league one manager but found wanting at championship level , I thought you were extremely unlucky to go down in the lock down season , if you'd had half the luck we had when we stayed up on the final night at Brentford in 2020 you'd have managed it easily , fine margins and Warne didn't have that bit of luck you need in the championship .
The move from TS in my opinion should be to try and replicate Warne , Taylor looks to be from that stock .
Ok he's not a name but with all due respect neither was Warne , he went to the third division from the championship when all is said and done .
