Yep.....and remember their first game after he’d been named and was sat in the stands watching?

It was against us and they beat us having not won for ages!

    HELLOOO!

Did we all cheer when Megson turned up having been dumped by Stoke?

I don’t think we did, not until we beat Charlton on the last day of the season to stay up.

Then play offs the following year.

    Then promotion in 2002.

Then we ungratefully sacked him after giving f u c k all to spend.

I like Keane, he says what’s on his mind, like you do AL and like I and a few others do.

I would run over broken glass for a manager like him or Megson who would judge me more on my character than on my supposed ability.

My whole life has been about effort and work rate because I lack natural ability in most everything I’ve ever done including work.

The gaffers I worked best for and with were the ones who recognised my passion and desire and took a chance on me.

I can’t stand chancers, poseurs and fakers, neither can Roy.

I think the game has moved on from just 'running through brick walls'.

I want a manager who is tactically aware and has brilliant man management skills. I don't see that with Keane. I'm sure he'd throw some noses out of joint with his approach and it would be justified in some individual cases. But will it likely work for the team overall? I'm not sure.

I actually don't think work ethic in our first XI is such a problem. I just don't think we are a streetwise team. I'd like someone with a bit of nous, someone who can improve our players. I don't think a manager who comes in raging at me every day would improve my performance at work.

I bet the rotten core of our squad are ecstatic. Another reprieve as the new guy gives them all another chance AGAIN. Who knows they may put some sort of effort in and fancy their chances of extending their big fat contracts extended AGAIN. Then as we know they revert to type.
Honestly my priority would be getting a good recruitment team in place. But what’s the point when we have an owner who actually drains the club rather than financing it.
Don’t care who we have as long as he is a ruthless Basxxrd who puts a rocket up the players.

And that’s part of the problem with your generation and younger, you require too much TLC and being cuddled.

FFS......take a look at the NFL behind the scenes and see how delicate these guys are coached.

Too much kissing peoples egos and a r s e s these days in all walks of life.

Who exactly are we worried about upsetting amongst our first team squad?

    No......I thought not!
I agree. I am pyssed more with players then most managers. We have some terrible players who just can't be arsed...

Would agree with that! Always believed in an eye for eye which is why I wouldn’t mess around with Putin - get NATO in there to reclaim Ukrainian land and if Putin starts WW3 then it starts it! I would also try and get China on side even if there’s concessions on Taiwan!

As Mick said too much kissing backsides and woke! For example if you want to be a shirt lifter then be a shirt lifter but who gives a f uck about somebody coming out, rainbow laces and all that crap.

Do we do posts of the year awards?
