It's a no from me, it would seem he has a bit of an attitude and would probably upset the excellent team spirit we have these days. It always felt like he was above playing for non league Notts when he was here. His history would point to that as well.

It's a big no from me. He has one asset, which is pace, something you cannot coach. If you have no other footballing attributes, it would be hard for even LW to improve his game sufficiently to be of use to us now or as we hopefully progress to the EFL.

He didn't want to stay in the first place, so now we he has missed the boat.

He wasn't really very good when he was here - not consistently anyway. Out of the 20-odd games he played for us he probably had 5 good ones. The reason some fans think fondly of him is because they were all at the end of his spell, including playing particularly well in the play-off match against the club he subsequently left us for.

This. He had some really horrific performances early on for us where his positioning defensively was all over the place, but he definitely improved offensively as his spell went on under IB (I remember a particularly strong performance at Barnet where he was our main threat, and then of course there was the Chesterfield play-off game). But his time at Chesterfield hasn't worked out, like his time elsewhere, so you've got to worry about his mentality.

We do need two good wing backs on both the left and right, as that position is probably the most physically demanding in modern football. We now have Nemane and TAR on the right, but need either Joel Taylor to get/stay fit on the left or look for someone else, as it's wrong to expect Chicksen to playing every game with the same intensity, especially when we have midweek games.

I agree. I couldn’t care less if he had been a revelation at Notts and Chesterfield. He sacked us off for a club in the same division.

Fair point. Add to that what OP67 said about attitude and team spirit, and it probably is a non-starter even thinking about it.
The tempting thing is the rarity of anyone who can give the opposition problems from the wing-back positions. But it seems LW has been the solution for that. Sorted

Noooo. Why upset the apple cart? We weren't good enough for him when we wanted him to sign. Now he is looking, as he thought the grass was greener on the other side. Money eh?

I don’t think anyone can blame a player at this level for going somewhere for more money…how much can they realistically be on? I’m not sure….2-3k a week? That much…does seem a lot actually!

I doubt many of us will know what players are like in the dressing room but after a difficult start I thought Miller really came into his own in the last quarter of the season. He seemed to have a good attitude on the pitch and really linked up well with Ruben and JOB. He was exciting to watch and got bums off seats too.

By no means does he have as much class or defensive intelligence as Chicksen, but given the choice out of him or Taylor then it’d be a no brainier for me. I don’t think it’ll ever happen, and as others have already said. The Radar is capable of finding better gems than Miller.

I hope he finds himself a club soon.
