Remember that game, our confidence was shot by then, we never looked like we believed we were good enough. For me the turning point was against Palace away. We’d won the previous 2 and went there full of confidence, a goal against the run of play then missed chances…..that was the story of the next winless 3 months with the worst example against Arsenal at home. We absolutely murdered them, but couldn’t score. Hit the bar, missed open goals. They got a single chance and smith scored it. 1-0.

Main reasons for me : not strengthing in the summer and injury to Don o’riordan on the opening day. Rideout is what’s remembered, but our fate was probably sealed on the opening day.

Clearly it won't help everyone but if you need a pick-me-up the fact F*rest failed to score again and lost to a previous hapless and managerless Wolves.

They are right royally screwed already. Marvelous

At least they can be relied on to numb the pain.

Just read a post from one of their fans saying he can't wait for the season to be over and to be back in the Championship. Claimed he enjoyed L1 more than this.

I really hope we can meet them there in two seasons' time and make him happy!

Somebody else claiming Dyche turned the job down before Cooper signed the extension because he was concerned about the leadership shake-up.

Yeah, Forest failing in the Prem really numbs the pain of us failing against a team of part timers who are in the same league as
    Basford and Ilkeston Town.

Great Twitter banter from Wolves after Forest' start it...

"Wolves' match-winner Ruben Neves alerted his team-mates to the pre-match social media wind-up that backfired badly on Nottingham Forest at Molineux.

In the build-up to their 1-0 defeat, Forest's official Twitter account posted a mock-up picture of striker Emmanuel Dennis sat on the pitch at the City Ground with three wolf cubs calmly sat with him, with the caption 'Playtime'.

The post was subsequently deleted, but not before Neves had forwarded it to the Wolves squad.

Neves went on to score the only goal from the penalty spot to lift Wolves out of the relegation zone and leave Forest bottom of the Premier League.

Wolves then posted 'Playtime's over', together with a picture of an axe embedded in a tree trunk.

"Yes, we were aware of it," said Wolves interim manager Steve Davis. "We were going to use it in the talk but Ruben said he put it on the players' chat so I didn't need to say any more.

"Those sort of things used to happen on the pitch. That doesn't happen so much now, but it gave us an edge."
