He would have been perfectly aware of all the above, my initial reaction, after I'd stopped laughing, was that he was taking the piss, having a laugh at the Left's expense, and also winding up his enemies in the Not the Conservative Party, who are numerous. Now he's had his fun, he walks away again, leaving chaos in his wake, it's typical of Boris, it's what he does. All those Lefty hacks last week, at the BBC, C4, Sky, the Grauniad, steam coming out of their ears, blue smoke curling up off the top of their heads, a joy to behold, then it's over he's gone.
