I’d go with 4 supposed centre halves across the back line with O’Shea as right back and play Pieters on the left with Kelly and Bartley centrally until Ajayi returns.

Yoksulu, Livermore, TGH, Wallace, Diangana in midfield and wider areas and Asante or Cleary or Dike as a lone striker.

We need to flood midfield, play deep and try pinching games having not conceded.

We are not going to “play” our way out of this.

It’s trench warfare for the rest of the season.
    Looks the only practical way.

Agree with a lot of that. One of my concerns with Corberan is that he might try and get them to play out from the back and play high press football again. We simply do not have the players for that. Val tried that with them which was ok for the first couple of games before they all got found out. Need to get back to basics, play players in positions they are best suited for, drop those who don't put the effort in, give the youngsters their chance and-above all-compete!

This makes sense. I don’t think CC will want to play this way but we’ll see.

I’d like to see us utilise Swift and maybe Rogic if he can get fit. We’re not creating chances and just ideally putting balls into the box with no target man.

I’d forgotten about Rogic.......the new “Andy Townsend” in our squad!

    I’d forgotten about Swift because he’s utter s h y t e!
