The grim reality for me today was that I had the one bet, Bangers and Cash in the Haldon Gold Cup, which hacked up at 8.68/1, thanks to a bet boost from Billy Hill. You just take care of the planet mon ami, and leave the gee-gees to me.

The not so grim reality for Kenneth Smith was that the Yanks botched his execution and his "death permit" expired.

Maybe there is mon ami, just one bet today, took on a Paul Nicholls odds-on favourite in the Novice Chase at Kempton. My nag won by 20 lengths, the Nicholls good thing another 14 lengths further back in 3rd. Happy days on both sides of the pond then.
