Great owners, to improve crowds and the first team from our lowest ever level makes you realise how incompetent the likes of Scardino and Storrie, Trew and Rodwell and Hardy were.
Not sure Trew and hardy were incompetent, they saved the club from extinction when they arrived, remember there would be no club without them
Unfortunately they had little money. no long term plan, and were to easily influenced by fans to sack quite good managers,( Curle and Nolan spring to mind ) as we know lead to huge costs in both manager compensation, acquiring new managers and players

I think our current owners hve much more cash, and most importantly in it for the long term, and a much better vision for the future
You are correct that everything is being built on solid foundations, a playing style, a rador system along with the manager for getting players, willing to put investment into the club, it really all looks very good for our future
Its only a matter of time now before we get back into the football legue, and them who knows where we can go, its not beyond us to target championshipllevel in the meduim to long term
I have never been more optimistic about our future since the warnock years, and the brief 2010 season

I too am optimistic but would not go as far as saying it is only a matter of time.

I am glad it is not only me who thought £18,000 sounded a bit tight, especially after reading through the requirements needed for any candidates to be considered for the job.

Well after Davy abstained for such a lengthy period in 2022 I didn't expect to wake up this morning and read that!!!!! I thought he had finally seen sense. Silly me.

Still looks like Davy has got his 'special mojo' back which can only be a good thing especially if he's now using it to look forward

Classy message from the owners as you would expect.
