I thought the tactics/subs weren't too far off yesterday as later on it was all about holding on for point.

Construction: If you remember, Arsenal's planned profits on selling Highbury and moving to a new ground were drastically hit by increased costs and drop in price of the planned apartments/homes they were building. It meant they had no big transfer budget for years and Arsenal dropped down the pecking order.
I would imagine costs of material, energy and materials have changed drastically since early 22, maybe that's part of the reason. Also seems an odd time to start ground improvements if there is a change in major ownership due... Though some clarity would be good?

I thought the tactics and subs were about right yesterday... given the prep time for the match
I was talking about Llorente, Cooper and Ayling in terms of contracts.

If you think the style of play and tactics are spot on then I am happy for you.

Not what I would personally call entertaining though - good the ball forward, win it back, create chaos and try to score - hmmmn

That we have scored the occasional good goal I think owes more to the quality of some of the players than tactical design.

RB Leipzig got it about right with Jesse I fear we won’t.

The highbury to emirates position was not at all analagous. The bought a new plot of land in north London and built a wonder stadium from scratch.

We are redeveloping our ground.

If you listen back to what Radz and especially Kinnear said we would be redeveloping this season and have one stand underway - no signs of that this season nor at the moment next.

As I said to me it feels like stasis which is not to undermine previous good work.

They just need to let the 49ers complete the rest of the purchase and start running the club as at the moment we are in limbo.
