I dont know if you would be calling people. That's a pretty disrespectful way to go about business, but who knows. I'm sure they'd maybe have people in mind, however.

Very rarely does anyone 'join as interim' immediately the sacking of a manager. I can't think of that happening ever tbh. The natural process is someone at the club taking charge until an appointment has been made.
