Just wanted to chime in and say...

This is such a glorious season. However it ends, I'm absolutely delighted with how the club is going in general. Very optimistic for the future now.

This bunch are starting to remind me of the promotion-winning Warnock sides. Not for the style of play, which is some of the best I’ve ever seen at Notts (finally a Notts team with an answer to the question “What do they do all week in training?”). But with the never-say-die spirit and ability to win games in lots of different ways - like with the three very different goals we scored last night. COYP!!

Soft penalty to us… Ref swayed by the crowd. Loved it when it was 1-1 and their players are collapsing all over the pitch but once we took the lead, they looked like they had a hot poker shoved up their arse! Fastest substitution in history.
The bad refereeing and inconsistency at this level is a real concern of mine going into the last eight games.

With so much riding on games they really do need to step up. It’s the same with the linesman and fourth official.

The game against Wrexham is massive. The eyes of the footballing world will be watching that game. They cannot be sucked into the Hollywood hype machine.

The National league have got to look at that fixture and put a referee in that’s capable of dealing with the occasion as it’s essentially a cup final. We should have a league one standard referee at least for that game. I won’t hold my breath though.

We need to carry the second half form on to Barnet and the rest of the season. If we do, I don't think any team in the division can live with us.
Exactly and last night was not our best 11, if the worst comes to pass and we end up in the play offs, with our strongest team ( that would include Scot ) i do not think anybody can beat us, if we get momentum we will rip them apart

To many refs have already been sucked into the Hollywood hype machine, that has given them the extra points to be above us

I thought that once we sensed they were blowing out of their a**es we just upped a gear and sailed into the sunset. Some f our football in the second half was a joy to behold. A quick word about the referee....shi*te.
A very good post and how I saw it. Eastleigh set out to stop us playing, and in the first half they impressively achieved that. The second half? Not so much

It must be incredibly difficult to maintain a high press, high intensity approach to try and stop a footballing side who like time on the ball for a full 90 mins or even close.
