As I have said I'm sick to death over the last decade of watching various organisations try and cozy up to the man only to be left high and dry when he feels the slightest bit cornered or he's asked difficult questions or he's took the huff over some perceived wrong that someone has did.

My goodwill toward him ran out years ago as error upon error and slight upon slight piled up on our support by the decisions he made.

And there's still been no explanation from D4L why they changed direction.

I imagine the next AGM will be lively.
My advocacy of patience is based on the expectation that Dee4life will indeed step up to the plate when it becomes irrefutable that there will need to be a plan B. The bigger Dee4life can grow the better, imo.

As for the minutes of their meetings being circulated to all Dee4life members as I have said there are organisations where the minutes are not circulated, there are also organisations where the information in minutes is regarded as confidential. Since Dee4life have changed their previous practice, it seems to me that it will have been done for a good reason. Given that the previous operating systems achieved very little, because of the intransigence of the DFC board, it seems to me that this change might actually help build a bridge between Dee4life and the DFC board.
As you will know it has been difficult to recruit board members for Dee4life. Let's give the new ones a chance to show what they can achieve. If you want to go back to publicly arguing with the DFC board you can always try to replace the current board of Dee4life. My view is that factors other than the issues that irritate our support will be much more influential and we may/will need a growing Dee4life to deal with the aftermath of our current owners tenure at DFC.
I have previously posted that I was not able to join their WhatsApp group which resulted in me not having a clue what was being discussed.
Eventually it was decided that I would receive an a weekly update of what was being discussed on the WhatsApp group but that never happened.
This eventually came to a head when I used my own initiative and sent an email to Greg Fenton on Friday 13th January 2023 asking if the Club were having an early pitch inspection for the home game against Partick Thistle which was due to take place on Saturday 14th January 2023.
There was a topic on Mad about it and I posted that I had sent Greg Fenton an email about an early pitch inspection.
This was a ‘no no’ as far as the vice chairman of Dee4life who was also the communications director at that time as Dee4life Director Kenny Valentine was handing over the hot water bottles to Greg Fenton on Friday 13th January 2023 and having a meeting with him.
I had no idea that this meeting was taking place because it had only been discussed on the their WhatsApp group and I had not been informed by email.

I wish Dee 4 life no I'll will but they DID NOT take forward the views of those who were prepared to speak at AGM.

The change of direction (u turn) seemed to occur when new directors were appointed.
Linda is only interested in the DSA.

I wish that the current Dee4life board of directors would realise that adopting a ‘tippy, tappy’ approach with Nelms and continually kicking the can down the road by having Members surveys is getting them nowhere.
They need to tell the Dee4life members exactly what they have done since the AGM in November 2022 regarding getting their primary representative elected on to the Dundee Football Club Limited board of directors and when their primary representative is going to be elected under the entrenched rights of the A shares.
There is no point having a Dee4life Director of Communications if he will not communicate with the Dee4life members.
Putting out a monthly newsletter which contains a lot of Guff is no use.

You can characterise the Dee4life approach as kicking the can down the road. I don't think they are the ones kicking the can down the road. I think they are bringing the matter to the DFC Board which is the exact opposite of your characterisation.
It isn't time wasting, imo, it's building a basis for supporting their claims.

Unlike you I know that the Dee4life board of directors have been kicking the can down the road since the middle of January 2023.
That is why I resigned as a director of Dee4life.

Apologies Islay. Your inside knowledge is much greater than mine. I have expressed my thoughts, often as questions, and will give up in the light of the facts as explained by you.

On Wednesday 29th March 2023 Dee4life Director Kenny Valentine handed over the results of the latest Dee4life survey which was completed by 200 out of 444 members to Greg Fenton General Manager of Dundee Football Club.
Included were the four most asked questions by members regarding Dundee Football Club.
Now over three weeks later the Dee4life members have not received details of the answers from Greg Fenton.
It cannot be too difficult to promptly answer these questions unless Greg Fenton has been getting lessons from his boss how to avoid and delay answering questions that he does not like answering.

Greg Fenton has no authority to answer any questions on behalf of Dundee FC. Only one person can do that and we all know he simply won't. Until season ticket sales take a slump of course, then he might skim over some of them, give loose half answers and promise planning permission for the pie in sky stadium will be in by the end of June (with no year specified of course).
