Its been getting away with murder for years. Most of that lot, are still sat on their arses at home.

ITV News has spoken to several people who have worked with Mr Raab throughout his career from being a backbench MP to a junior minister and Secretary of State

Among the testimonies were:

A former ministry of justice official who said, "He was the most difficult minister I've ever had to work with. He saw the system as the enemy rather than as a team of people to be led and directed. There wasn't the sense you were in the same team and I can see how this led to frustration."

Another former colleague, from a previous role held by Mr Raab, argued that he turned the office into "a happy, productive place to a miserable hole." They added, "Not all bullies scream - they are sarcastic, demeaning and controlling."

But others denied Mr Raab is a bully, insisting he simply had high standards. One told ITV News he was kind, organising events for staff like joke Christmas awards and a summer barbecue each year, branded the "Raab-ecue".

Mr Raab himself has maintained he has always had excellent relationships with civil servants across government and has always acted with professionalism and integrity.

He has also pointed out that after complaints were made, he was the one to immediately request an independent inquiry.
Funny how I don't really need to read your post, to know what it will contain. Basically a repeat of the falsehoods spewed out by the likes of Gb news and The express to con those who are gullible enough and with no knowledge of the reality, or ability to analyse the truth of what's been said. You really do seem to be an authoritarian governments wet dream , believe anything that accords with your own narrow views!

The civils service have been "getting away with murder for years"? I assume you have some actual evidence to back this statement up?

I presume you think if one works from home one isn't working? Mm amazing how many private companies don't accord to that view, so wonder who I believe?

Some people said he was a bully and gave evidence of his intimidating, and aggressive behaviour and others said he was a nice man. Yup that sounds about right, I understand Fred West laid a nice patio and could be very charming!

Simply had high standards? Mm this is the minister who during the crisis in Afghanistan, thought it appropriate for him to continue his holiday that sounds like a minister on top of his brief! That plus the fact he has not achieved anything in any of the ministerial positions he holds suggests he is like a lot of them out of his depth and unfit for the role his mate had put him into - you see that's the problem with promoting mates as a favour, if they can't actually do the job it spells trouble.

Yes he did request the investigation, actually a minister has no choice in the matter when such complaints are made, its in the code of conduct.

I do smile when on the one hand in other posts you complain this incompetent government has failed to implement Brexit properly, yet in the same breath seem to be implying that because they say something its automatically true.

In fact as the evidence shows, with this government, they habitually lie and mislead people.

The fact is two of the complaints were proven and he had no choice but to go, the rest of his childish whining makes the average "woke" snowflake look quite strong and tolerant by comparison!
