Looking at options myself (being exiled over the border in Lincs!) on a slightly different route -
drive down to the big smoke and drive parking too - nothing paid for yet - we all know Notts don't we!

For me that would be down the A1 to the vicinity of High Barnet or Cockfosters underground
and using Just Park website. Coming down the M1 from Nott'm I suppose it'd be Edgware or Stanmore underground,
drive parking prices seem to be reasonable those areas. Prices around Wembley are high on Just Park - may be different on other sites.

Train fares on East Midlands are ridiculous, think their algorithms have sussed there might be a large movement
of people to west London from Nott'm that day - that's even if their trains are going to be running, they're still 'reviewing' according to their website.

How's this for an anomaly - Cheaterfield fans could get an EMR train (see proviso above) to London for £54. Some of these same trains stop
at Long Eaton and EM Parkway but if you were a Notts fan willing to get on that same train at LE or EMP you'd be paying £73.60!

Train fares desperately need simplifying. How nice it would be if there was a basic price per mile or similar. Oh and they also need to be about half what they are! When it is cheaper to go as the lone occupant of a full sized car it is abundantly clear that they're far too pricey.

Ain't that the case ! My eyes water when I come over and use the trains. We did buy my son an annual £30 discount card and he saved the cost in one trip.

There has been internet talk about arranging a bus (coach) out of Newark.
