Here's the pic. Ref looking straight at it. Player has both hands on Fozzy's shirt. Shirt riding up his back. I'd love to hear why the ref didn't think it was a penalty, especially based on the one he gave them...

You’re a deeply suspicious human being, Gunt.
Think most of us would agree we only have ourselves to blame...not so much for yesterday but for all the dropped home points during the last couple of months of the season.
I don’t really care tbh, but of the four teams left my personal preference would be Bolton just because they’ve had an experience not dissimilar to ours and because of the Ian Evatt connection. He’s one of our youth products in case you don’t know and a player, imo, we should never have let go.
I also have a soft spot for Darren Moore but ultimately, coming from the west side of the Pennines, I’ll support Lancashire over Yorkshire.
Good luck anyway...don’t think Peterborough really deserve it as much as the other three who’ve been amongst the pacesetters all season, but que sera sera. See you next seasonwhen I expect us to have some bigger lads in the squad.
The penalty decision was a disgrace, ram, and all the worse because it was such an important game. But it's similarly disgraceful that we're still waiting for one after 46 games. It's ironic that the latest two stone wallers against Peterborough would have seen Derby in the play offs. Still, maybe the last game of the season scenarios are almost as enoyable as the semis, at least as the neutral is concerned.
It's the whitest of white lies. We were given just one pen and that was at Forest Green. But it's barely worth a mention as it was 4-0 with a few minutes left so it hardly mattered. It's like saying you had a salad even though on closer inspection there was a speck of bacon hiding under a lettuce leaf. Other than that that it's one in 45 games so you're right, it's a remarkable statistic. I don't know if Derby players cheat from time to time but maybe you're right and we should do so ourselves. Have a look at the highlights from our Peterborough game and you'll see the first pen appeal is almost laughable. When a goalie takes a wild, lunging, waist length high kick to stop a player, and still you don't get a pen it's time to give up.
It is almost unbelievable, one would think on average there would be at least 6 or 7 in that run of games. There is a feed back on refs performance so hopefully your manager highlights these issues, at least the strong cases when reporting?
Its not necessarily cheating, but sometimes when a player is fouled, its better to go down in the hope a pen is given, than to try and stay on their feet. Thats really just playing percentages.
I get it that it all happens quickly and a ref has to make a split second decision on what he saw or thinks he/she saw, though one would expect the ass ref to help out, though they rarely seem to and of course may sometimes the ref maybe unsighted, but for that many games not to have a sniff of a penalty seems very odd.
Anyway your in the playoffs having let the Posh win, so not too much to complain about!!
swaledale, as far as I'm aware the club put in an official complaint but obviously I'm not party to its contents. Yes the ref only has a few seconds to make a judgement but you would think from time to time he'd get it wrong and give a pen even though it wasn't a foul. If I was really cynical, and sometimes I am, I'd say from time to time refs prefer not to give us a pen no matter what.
