Rivalry is a fundamental part of the game, the more intense the better - then it means more. Seems we have to explain this on MAD at least once a year.
Celtic v Rangers is one of the most hostile rivalries in football, but without one another their existence would be meaningless. In fact it's the only thing saving Scottish league football from complete irrelevance.
