Looks like he needed a place for all that emotional baggage of being a cuckold, Spurs trophy room seemed to fit the bill.

What I'm hearing, Newcastle United didn't even bid for him this summer. We moved on, he wasn't an option this window. Szoboszlai & Tonali are obviously our top 2 targets this window. 1 in the bag other on his way!

from what i heard, we did not bid for Maddison, wages were crackers , although we are looking for a double raid at Southampton for Lavia and Walker Peters.

The talk of the other lad and Szobozlai is not accurate, they are targets but not at the moment a reality

Yep. Very good player who should fit in with Spurs' new manager's attacking style.

Would be hilarious if the player he's been bought to load the bullets for is suddenly firing them for another team.

Not bothered anymore with that mercenary MADDISON joining the spuds - we dodged a bullet there!

Szoboszlai is a far superior option for us, and I hope we are still in the picture - or is this guy another fraud sucked in by that grinning hyena from Liverpool?

Aye, was disappointed when I read that Liverpool had had talks with his representatives.

Champions League or not, we're still levels behind teams like them (that's not a moan, just the way things are currently)

Forgetting Financial Fair Play for a minute we still don't how much our owners are prepared to put into the club per year. After all it is an investment fund so the long term aim is to make money not lose it even though they have billions to invest.

Investing as much as possible to maximize our club’s growth is a no brainer in terms of business (you’d have to be Mike Ashley not to see it).

When Liverpool Man U, City come calling you sit up and listen, like you say Zip we are behind them in terms of reputation and past success. Players know they have a good chance of trophies with these clubs, we are still work in progress, although Bruno bought into the “project” so fingers crossed he choose the toon.
