They have, i put a thread on here about a month ago saying lots of staff had been made redundant at Football Radar. For me it was worrying as typically that happens when the finances are drying up. Extending Langstaff' contract was the least of our worries. We need at least 3 defenders otherwise we will be back in the NL next season. 70% possession yet Lincoln had 20 shots, shambolic defending yet again.

Style over substance springs to mind, we are in for a long hard season.

Fk sake some proper drama'ing on here. Gerra grip, not had 11 players on the pitch for a full game yet, 2 games in and we are doomed, radar finished, owners out of money, last year was a disaster really, told you so, told you so etc. Mid table transition was always OK, way too much hype after a (still) stunning season last year. We will lose some games this year and the awesome manager, owners and core team will settle down and adapt. Blimey.

It shows what the value of pace is. Cheetahs against wildebeests. No matter how skilful the wildebeests they don't stand a chance against cheetahs.

20 shots against us, eh? That's about five times more than any team had against us in in any one game last season. Well we coped in those games but we ain't playing those teams again are we? Well not this year anyway, next year?

If we had scored first I think it would have been a very different game, but letting the first goal in brought back all the bad feelings from the weekend.
He can be disappointed with the creativity all he wants but he’s the one that hasn’t replaced Rueben who was our flare player and creativity and if he thinks Crowley is his replacement then god help us.

    It not being over dramatic.
    It's real
    We are in trouble.
I wasn't one of those thinking we'd be promotion candidates. I was criticised on here for my opinions on our inept defending last season, which people seemed to think wasn't a problem because we were winning.
Right now I'd settle for 15th/16th.
We now can't retain the ball in midfield let alone find our striking options.
We could of conceded 7 on Saturday and possibly 5 or 6 last night.
Williams has been fantastic and I have a lot of faith in him but he can only work with what he has.
We struggled March onwards as teams found us out and despite the glory of Wembley we limped into the League.
We do urgently need a physical mobile defensive midfielder and new centre backs who can defend first.
I don't think we have the budget for this.

Therefore I think the biggest question Williams faces is changing his style of play. Having faith in your players is one thing. Using a system that exposes them beyond their abilities is another.

I don't know if the Radar recruitment comments on here are true, that the team responsible for Notts are no longer employed! But I heard Williams say in a recent interview that he had very little to do with recruitment.

    In which case who is??

    That's worrying.

I can't help thinking we may be missing Jason Turner more than we realised

We also need some creativity aswell as defenders in my eyes Rueben hasn’t actually been replaced.

I think this sums up the issue, as far as I can see it - we haven't adapted our style to take into account the fact we're playing half-decent sides every week. What worked against Maidenhead won't work against Mansfield. Our lack of bite, physicality, and defensive solidity worries me.

No, he’s not. He’s repeatedly (pointedly?) said throughout this summer that he’s not got anything to do with the recruitment.
