As most have said. Hall peltier and Morrison are excellent championship players IF (massive if) they keep fit. Though most are forgetting go to the flat back 4 and play Blackett and Humphreys with McCart as back up there isn't a problem
The last time Burnley came in for Berge last year, heckingbottom wanted Wiles as his replacement
A first-class assessment and I fear for what comes next after a disastrous relegation this time.
You are right - every area is failing. I remember the days when Rotherham found the Albert Bennetts, Houghtons, Butlrrs, lyonses, even the Watsons... we can neither find nor develop them now.
Other clubs have beaten the ludicrous price war by finding talent in unknown lands... but judging by how long we have taken to get Christ resurrected so far, any we find that way would be even older tham me by the time the Govt gave em a zimmer permit.
We're a L1 club at best and to even survive at this level we have to work harder and smarter. No evidence of this at any level for a loooong time sadly.
That was to Derby Miller. Just an old man on a mobile phone...
Every area is failing? We've just gone through the most successful (and for me consistently enjoyable) decade of my 50 year supporting history! Punching well above or weight, mainly thanks to God management from Evans, Warne and now we hope Taylor. You may be right that we're a l1 club in size and fan base, but under Stewart have spent much of the time above that level. I for one, am thankful for that. Yep, we could return to league one, and with poor recruitment at manager level, could be even worse. But under Stewart, in all those years in a great stadium, we have been mainly in the championship. I think we should be grateful for that and count or bloody blessings.
Every area is failing! Ffs.
Astonishing isn’t it
Unfortunately too many of our fans live match to match . Win one and we’re finally competing at this level, lose one and we’ll never be anything but a L1 club
It’s all about the bigger picture, the whole of the transfer window and where we are after a dozen matches that will likely define our season. Not forgetting May is the finish line and not the preceding August
There’s also the Jan transfer window which went a long way to save us this season
Maybe Kayode and Eaves will deliver
MT has said this week we’re waiting on offers we’ve put in on players
Wonder if he’s gone to Exeter for any more. Sam Noombe is still there and apparently Charlton made a significant bid recently but it didn’t happen
It`s a simple fact that some of our "Fans" are a bit thick, not a lot you can do about that I`m afraid.
