When we played with tempo and intensity we did well. We do however need to hit the target more. Far too many shots go high and/or wide. Corners too. We never look like scoring from them. One goal from a corner last season I think too. That has to be the worst record in Europe!
Game was poor overall because we allowed Dunfermline to make it poor. Fell into their trap to make it scrappy. Constantly breaking up play and stopping the flow. Ref not able to deal with that. Nice to see the time wasting punished with an equaliser in injury time though. Good attitude to get something ultimately. Just feel if we had started 4-3-3 then we would have had more control. Moult will also have more effective games which will help.
Cudjoe goal gave us the point we deserved. Pars managed to nullify Moult and Wighton took his goal well.

Suspect Watt will be gone in/by January

    Nice coverage from Ghana 🇬🇭

I agree with you, we have changed our formation to 4-2-3-1 to crow bar in a player on 6K a week who lets face it, isnt worth 600 a week. He was pish yesterday and is never a number 10

Problem is if you drop him he then becomes toxic in the group like he did last year resulting in him getting punted to St mirren.

Think some people are way too harsh on Watt. He's one of a select few who can hold on to the ball and beat a man even with not much pace. He's just over a bad injury too.

It's not that side of him I dislike. In fact, that's the frustrating thing about him, he's a decent player.

This Watt hate is a bit weird, JG has said nothing but positive things about him and his attitude plus I've never really seen him not give his all for us, if he was an issue then he'd get rid, as he did with Scott brown at the sheep

Didn't have a great game but wasn't bad either, the problem imo, was Meekison, simply not a replacement for Docherty or Grimshaw, that's where the game changed

Glass was decent when he came on, that helped turn the tide, the time wasting Pars were knackered in the last 15 or so also

Getting the first goal at home is crucial, can't see us dropping many pts at home if we do

Disagree with that. We haven't changed formation to shoehorn Watt into the team. 4-3-3 wasn't working. We were far too exposed in keeping the three forward players high up the park. Grimshaw being moved to right back also left us weakened in the middle as we couldn't rely on Meekison/Glass/Mochrie to fill that final position. All three are more attack minded. The formation change brought about an upward turn in results until yesterday. Both formations will play their part for us this season. A lot will depend on the fitness of Sibbald & Docherty though. Docherty is already instrumental to this team imo.

The problem with Glass is he is so slow and weak you cant start him in games because he gives you zero going the other way, thats why he couldnt get a came for a piss poor cove team last year.

Don't disagree on his pace or power but he still played well enough when he came on and Fotheringham did well also, albeit they were facing a tiring team at that point

That's why Cudjoe found the space and time for his goal

Glass and Fotherham are decent options from.the bench but Middleton is not good enough as a Starter or an option of the bench. Why we need to sign a left winger. We won't though and it will cost us.
