I think it is dawning on him that this is very much a work in progress (certainly defensively as he hinted at). He is clearly unhappy with the second half performances and I also think he does realise that there are players that are struggling to make the step up (mentioned giving people a fair chance).
Like everyone else he is probably on a downer after Saturdays performance.

I thought until the last couple of questions, he was fine, but thought he was more attacking than defensive with the last guys questions.
Pleased to hear him say about giving kast years guys a fair crack, but also was very aware of the need to replace those that cannot step up.
I thought his mood was fine, and certainly not on a downer, like so many fans are.

We are not employees of the club and can be as down as we want.

I think that's a good thing. We've got used to his calm and measured demeanour but he's reminding us there's a bit of edge to him.

I really liked the interview to be honest. He's acknowledged there are problems but explained the reasons why, but also drawn attention to the bigger picture, which is pretty good.

It could work and suit us the formation that England played last night and Manchester City went from a back 3 to back 4 but not sure LW is ready yet ?

I thought it was an excellent interview despite the questions being pretty poor at times.

The most interesting part for me was when asked about other L2 teams (a few weeks ago they asked 'are you surprised about L2?' he said yes and they left it at that!)

This time Luke said the tactics are par for the course (paraphrasing) but he's really impressed by the quality of the squads and the way they are put together. So over to recruitment and the bros on that one....because it has to be a very fair comment.

He said, Players go by the wayside for various reasons, It's part of football. He should know by Christmas who's getting dropped by the wayside ready for the January window.

It’s quite difficult to work out who though as I would say up to now no one’s really been dropped and others haven’t had that much of a crack in the league.

We need to stop playing people in positions that they are not comfortable with... Nemane is a out and out winger and nothing else. His strength is being able to beat his man and get the ball into the box, he cant do that if he is tracking back defending.. The same goes for Jones..
We need to play to our strengths and take the game to the opposition..
