    Yep it’s hilarious
It is but it makes you wonder all the more why TS pulled the trigger when he did.
It makes little sense and seems very knee-jerk....which it probably was.

Knee jerk would have been after Hillsborough. He got more games and didn't get better (Ipswich aside)

We haven't been good enough. We've spent on who MT wanted. That hasn't worked.

Most of the team very clearly don't want to play for him and Taylor was saying he doesn't trust players he's signed.

You can't make those statements in any walk of life.

For what it's worth, the chairman was debating to sack immediately after Hillsborough.

As you say. The list of replacement was draw up before the Watford game.

I wonder if Target A has said "thanks but no thanks?"
By the way, TS's words are pretty much the same as he said before appointing MT "flattered by the calibre of applicants", "sometimes the best deals take longer to complete"', "taking our time" and blah, blah, blah.
Let's hope his "best deal" works out this time 🤔
Come on mellow. You can't make things up then pass them off as true/fact. It was the advertiser that posted the headlines. You can't imply the club write the story's. Yes I agree the reply from TS has been used about 5 or 6 times in the past 10 years.

I didn't say the club wrote the story but it would be naive to think Paul Davis wasn't given some guidance. He's not known for making things up or being controversial.
Didn't TS ban the Advertiser a few years ago because they published something he didn't like? Everything has been pretty bland since they were allowed back.

    Just speculating actually.
However you claim to know that the list of replacements was drawn up before the Watford game.
You're obviously one of those who are "in the know" whereas I'm clearly not.

Didn't work out too well when Warney departed and we had Wood/Peltier taking charge against Wigan. I think we lost 0-2 at NYS and it was a complete shambles. Wigan were struggling at the time, but for a rampant Leeds side to come to NYS with no-one at our helm is a recipe for disaster.

To be fair we’ve now got more recipes than Gordon Ramsey so one more won’t make much difference
