Either way, irrespective of formation, players just have to do their jobs and play with a degree of intelligence.

Quick point on Dexter. When we signed him, he was practically fresh out of Wolves' academy. This is his first proper crack at professional football. I don't know about anyone else but I never expected a 19yo with hardly any experience to be playing week in week out. To be fair he's done great and has proven to be a real talent. But he's still developing as a player which makes the decision to send Kioso out on loan a really strange one.
We didn't expect every game though peltier played RB most of last season and did good so I think MT thought between them we had RB covered.
Long way to go in the season.
Sometimes I Think folks forget the defending is relient on the midfield. Especially in a team with weaker players like the ones we have.

Yeah I think the plan was pelts at right back then switch it out if you need something more threatening going forward. Same at left back where MT probably saw Blackett as a starter. A back four of Blackett, Cam, Hall and Pelts would have been pretty solid.

Letting Kioso leave was mad, maybe his face doesn't fit.
Every time I've seen Bramall play this season he has given his man on his side of the pitch the freedom of Rotherham, this has resulted in more than one goal.
I've spoken to a couple of decent footballers who played at full back, and it's basic defending to get closer to your man.
So is Cohen a poor defender or has he been told to fo this ?

I've thought the same thing, it must be a tactical thing as he does it ALL the time, Surely wouldn't keep his place in the team if it wasn't?

I sit in the East Stand and see a lot of what Bramall has to contend with and most people who are n the same area think pretty much the same about what happens.
He's clearly been told to use his pace and get forward as often as he can but when he does that a midfielder should surely fill the gap he leaves behind in case the move breaks down. When Ferguson was in the team he used to do that quite well but none of his replacements seem capable or willing to do it.
I've lost count of the number of times Bramall has to race back and he almost always has to deal with two attacking players because no-one picks up the spare runner.
I think he gets a lot of unjustified criticism mostly due to the failure of others and it's about time the manager sorted it out because Dexter is now starting to get criticism for the same sort of problem on his side of the pitch.

When I saw Dexter in pre season and first few games I thought he looked exactly his age and lacked experience and that he wouldn’t be up to the championship.
He’s come on leaps and bounds, fantastic player. Plus’s far outweigh the minus’s.

Just watch him carefully on Hull's second, third, and fourth goals. It can only be described as woeful. Harsh, possibly, to single him out when most of his team mates were beyond poor, but he really needs to go back to Wolves to pay in some junior matches. No more "learning his trade" guff. At this moment we need men. And I don't mean old codgers past their sell by date.

Would he want to come back? Appointed team captain, Posh in with a shout of promotion - he wouldn’t be captain here and quite likely to have a relegation to his CV. Not an attractive proposition from his perspective, is it, after the way he was left out here?
