I suppose mein freund he knows he can recoup £50 million + by selling Trafford, Koleosho & Amdouni in July so why worry.

There is an awful lot going on Sub, the ownership structure, the debt situation, it's a right can of worms, and although I try to follow it as best I can, I have no real idea what's going on. Who owns what, who owes what to whom, why so many of the companies involved file their accounts late or don't file them at all, why are there so many different companies involved and what purpose do they serve ?

In fact can of worms doesn't even begin to cover it. Imo there is an awful lot of scope for this to end in tears, for Burnley FC that is, I don't doubt Mr Pace and ALK will eventually walk away smelling of the proverbial roses.

We are surely not alone in that regard. It baffles me how many clubs are financed these days and where the money comes from to balance the spending

It was great to be noticed that I was a fan of a great club, who were definitely” on the way back “. It was a great season, and despite the tough opening half a dozen fixtures, I could see light at the end of the tunnel, and expected us to be climbing the table to a comfortable position, as we approached the second half of the season
. Relegation never ever entered my mind, until reality sunk in. Like many others, I now have doubts about the manager, and also the way in which the club is being run. You couldn’t wish for a greater contrast in 12 months of football. It’s disillusioning, disappointing and disheartening to see the way things are going. Is there any hope for the not too distant future ? Right now, it’s hard to believe there is.
All I would say Mal is Dyche was afforded much more patience than on here at the minute and yet we went down and came back again.

I never saw a Dyche side fold like this lot do. The likes of Trafford, O"Shea, Beyer and Vitiniho would have been no where near a Dyche starting 11, none of them are nowhere near good enough, they simply can't defend a simple set piece

Onana scored for Everton from a corner, he's 6ft 4 ins, he was being marked by Josh Brownhill who is 5ft 11 ins. It doesn't get simpler than that.

Maldini never took into account any size advantage, he blocked, he jumped at or into the player, elbows ago-go, shirt tugged, bollox squeezed - the lot.

Army88 is right our lot need to get street wise and quick!

I don't think Maldini is an option for us, we have to make do with Brownhill who was marking Dawson at Wolves, Dawson virtually picked him up and threw him to one side. We're just not big enough or strong enough, simples.

I would love to see a training session at Gawthorpe because what aspects of the game they work on are news to me.

We can't score, we can't defend, just WTF is going on?

There is an element of that for definite Sinkov but my thing is if we know it’s not
Our strongest point / forte why let teams deliver ball onto our centre backs and full backs.

I think a post higher up is right to a degree that Dyche would t have a Vitinho for example in his team.

His team would definitely be defence first - I have no issue with a attacking full back if he can do both jobs but some of them can’t - however Beyer is a much more cultured footballer than Mee or Tarky will ever be - we just don’t have the players around him to express that at the moment.

Going back to my Dyche point we played decent football in the championship when relegated- but I still think Dyche was afforded patience many times whereas VK has romped the league below playing amazing football but now we want his head for a small window / half a season that isn’t working.

I’m frustrated as well but I do t think we are miles off - a centre back - centre mid amd forward who wants to play would help us a lot.
