Unless we have to pay compensation for their replacements.
And as Swansea fan Magic Michu says that they haven’t sorted out the Russell Martin compo yet.

Maybe a new man will address this issue, hopefully, only thing to change will be the defence tightening up?

Assuming the transfer by committee continues, new signings must have already been identified to help?
The transfer by the recruitment team will not change. I think that you're right, the emotion will be gone with the new chap so there might be some upheaval but also an opportunity to massively improve the defence

Swansea still haven’t agreed compensation with Southampton for Russell Martin.
Hopefully our owners a tad more savvy and will not release hims from the contract until all monies are paid. Sounds like the Swans have a bit of a dodgy owners.

Given we were looking at poaching Altrincham managers before LW came in we are clearly happy to pay a bit of compo. They are 5th in NL. Maybe we have another look? Won't be expensive.

This. Intensity, attention to detail and seeing what we saw instead of IBs flights of fancy.

The Martin compensation is different. He had a release clause that defined the amount but was different depending on which tier the club was. Southampton was premier league but was relegated, they are claiming they're a championship club, Swansea are saying they were a prem club, the amount is defined, they are quibbling about semantics. As far as I am aware, LW has no such clause and therefore the amount must be agreed before he leaves to the amount Notts are happy with. If LW were to leave without such consent, Swansea would be in a heap of doodoo

    Why wouldn’t he leave?
Yeah it seems to be an easy decision for him. Are you on here to revel in our depression? To tell us that you've been playing, and are known for playing, LW style?

Looks like you've got the best manager we've had in ages and we're not letting you get away with a **** compensation package, ergo the delay. Enjoy.

I've just heard it's not such an easy decision for him. He's wanting written assurances from the board and changes in the club. This isn't nailed on

If he goes then we shall soon see how good he really is. At Notts he couldn't really fail because he had all of the quality players given to him on a plate, all he had to do was coach them. At Swansea you would assume that he will be largely responsible for recruitment. This could well be his downfall....
