I honestly cant see why they would want to pour more brass in, and own more when they wont do it now?

My view has always been that Parekh wouldn't put money in whilst Conway and Lee owned part of the club. I know I wouldn't. I've wondered therefore what his strategy would be to remove Conway and Lee if he did really want to have majority control and get the benefits of his own personal investments. It's coming clearer how he's moving forward. The big question is, when Conway and Lee are off the books, what will then be his investment strategy? We'll have to wait and see.

The Investor Group of Hedge Funds exist to take calculated punts to make money and when Conway pitched to them in New York they believed he could deliver.
When Conway was binned and the Investor Group aligned themselves to Parekh he gained control (with Crynes shares)

Parekh has since been buying up bits of shares as they became available. The final step is to buy up Lee's and Conway/ Hung's remaining shares. Parekh would need to be very careful if he brings in a completely new investor on the scene to buy the remaining 20% but that is a possibility

Exactly SB. That's how his strategy has played out. And like you say, he's so far put in what he could likely get back. It will be interesting to see what happens when Conway and Lee inevitably leave. My gut feel is that Parekh wants sole control; I don't get the impression that another investor is planned. It is reported that left back Josh Earl, who played 29 games for Preston in 21/22 but now has a contract at Fleetwood due to end this summer, is having a medical at Oakwell today.

No details yet on whether any fee is involved or whether he may come on a free.

This was always an ad hoc arrangement right from the outset when Patrick sold the club , bibs and bobs of minority shares plus the B shares .

A public united front with the bad guys out of the way is one thing , but when it comes to money , well that's an altogether different thing .

Yes it could be argued just as you say. And it's up to the 3 parties to come to an agreement that they're all comfortable with. It could go a number of ways.
