Most of the increase (Nearly £4m) can be attributed to Salaries, NI etc. That will be 100% on players.

My concern would be, how do they bring it line for next season. People seem to think there's a massive pot of unspent TV and transfer money available.

If the club pushed things more and spent more money this season as rumoured, they should communicate it to supporters and be pretty honest about it.
People were told that the 23-24 season was worth £7m more, although that's gone quiet of late. The transfer fees we've received were most likely offset by the two we brought in, so I doubt that's a major issue - most recognise that. There are supposedly clauses on some contracts for release/decreased wages (our recruitment outcomes would probably indicate that's not true though), and a lot of the current squad will likely depart by way of contracts ending or being sold. Financially next season out biggest hurdle is revenue, not costs. Unless some higher profile firms move into Barbot Hall we're not likely to see much change there.

We're existing. That's about it.
