I'd agree that Notts were unlucky at Wrexham & Mansfield and those potential draws would have stood SM in good stead.
As you say the owners may have the " not so bad "
perception too. This perception may well change when attendance figures decline or the matchday environment turns toxic.
I wouldn't agree that the players are sulking or deliberately underperforming.
SM said that minor tweaks were needed to stem the goals conceded. These tweaks have had the opposite effect on attacking proficiency without solving the defensive issues !
As Maynard himself keeps saying , individual errors are the problem.
The attacking play wasn't broke and therefore didn't need fixing .
The main issue appears to be very laboured transitional build ups and the players being unable to understand their roles and positional diktats from the coach ?
