He was never a central defender, it was us that put him in that role. When he played at Torquay he played he played either left wing or left back

Very true. I always felt LB was his strongest position as he's actually pretty effective going forward. Being forced to play CB and pass it around a lot probably didn't help him much.

Yes, once, in the play-off game. Because he'd been out injured and they had a settled centre back pairing but were struggling for fit wide options and Gary Johnson thought, rightly as it turned out, that playing Cameron there would cause problems for our rather small right-sided defensive pairing of DKE and Brindley.

But it was very much a one-off, as with his odd appearance at left back. He was a centre back coming through at Newcastle, when out on loan, at Torquay, and now at Notts. To suggest we moved him there is, as I said, completely made up.
