Hope its Kamala Harris, she's the USA's equivalent of Diane Abbott. Comedy gold

No, much more fun to make up. Politicians are like the trains in Thomas the Tank Engine. Or maybe Googly Eyed Gove

Being serious for a mo Harris is streets ahead of Abbott intellect wise (imagine a Biden/Abbott ticket!’) plus, Harris sort of reminds me of Jackie Brown era Pam Greer which would get my vote any time

How are they all doing? Doesn’t seem like that bad a track record to me, but sorry for offering an opinion…on a forum of all things.
Well last time I checked four were members of Parliament, two are raking it in on the after-dinner speaking circuit, ones too rich to give a toss about anything and ones gearing up to be leader of the free world. Can you think of a prerogative adjective for me please?

So rA. you're saying he shouldn't play to his strengths?

Or…one has his reputation in tatters as a dishonest, dishonourable and immoral liar who threw away his Party’s best position for years. One has the reputation of being the worst PM this country has even known and has just lost her seat, one has lost his reputation and his job and now has to go on minor celebrity TV shows, one is indeed ‘too rich to give a toss’ but has just lost one of the safer seats in the country, one may be ‘gearing up to be leader of the free world’ but has, since our exchanges began, lost that very same position and been proved to be a criminal, one has ‘disappeared’ from once being the most powerful government advisor in the country, two have kept their seats but been sacked from Cabinet positions and now belong to a barely relevant political party, one has kept his reputation but no longer has a Party and one has just been elected, at the eighth attempt, to a position he doesn’t really want.
Still…if you only judge people according to their level of income/wealth I suppose you have a point. Thought better of you.

Lol. I’m saying, after his recent contributions, I no longer know what they are.

Income is one measure of success, in fact last time I checked it’s right up there in popularity, however I didn’t mention income in five of the eight cases.

…and, to coin your rather overused phrase, ‘the last time I checked’ I hadn’t mentioned ‘success’.

Oh come on, Forest Gump is streets ahead of Abbot, and at least he knows how to match shoes into pairs.

I wouldn't have a problem with Harris assuming the mantle, she seems competent, which the past two POTY's have struggled with. But I'm not sure the US voters would be so supportive. I'm not sure they are ready for a woman POTY let alone a first Blasian one. She was picked as VP by Biden as a shield against assassination on this basis after all.
