We have had (almost) a week in Dorchester now, and it has been great.

”Al Molo” is a culinary gem, Italian & Seafood restaurant. Visited it twice.

”Convivial Rabbit” another gem, lots of interesting ales from local micro breweries. 5 visits I think.

”Blue Raddle”, says on sign, ”Open occasionally since 1850”, well, have to emphasize ”occasionally”, closed the whole week…

Otherwise, the Jurassic Coast of course, Lyme Regis, West Bay.

Caught a classic and super car show at Sherborne Castle.

Cerne Abbas, Wimborne Minster, Wareham, Kingston Lacy, Corfe Castle and village (including railway between Corfe and Swanage).

To Harwich tomorrow to catche the ferry to the Netherlands, than Hamburg for four days.
My mate has booked Al Molo's for his birthday in August. Really looking forward to it after your review. He confirmed the landlord at The Convivial Rabbit (great name) is a Baggie and he did warn him him he might be getting a visit from a marauding Baggie supporting Swede.

Glad you enjoyed it. I prefer it to Cornwall probably because I can be there in a couple of hours not half a day.
