But congratulating himself for picking Phillips over Dawson

Hasn’t done much to change my mind on him.
I had the same discussion with Pocket on Saturday. I wasn’t overall impressed with bringing him back and this could go horribly wrong. His conduct wasn’t good and it’s not acceptable.
It’s only 1 game and we will get better.
How much better will depend on him.
I still think we will be top 10 but will that be enough for TS or some supporters?

Not shaking hands is a TS issue not Evans. Evans isn't intelligent enough to understand what it means and how it portrays the club and us as supporters. TS needs to stop this NOW, he needs to give Evans a dressing down and tell him to publicly apologise for his behaviour, he should also be told that if he does it again he will be dismissed.

Only a select few people know what happened regarding their Manager and ours.
They are ….were ….friends but he could have been giving SE grief all match away from the cameras for all we know and then he expects a public handshake. The dugouts are joined at together at their ground so a lot probably happens in that close environment anyway.

SE appeared to be shaking hands with some Exeter players at the end so it can’t be sour grapes

I’m guessing a bit here but there’s clearly more gone on here than we think and for people to condemn the attitude of our Manager is a bit premature

They are all valid points Scum.Like others have said,he was absolutely livid and at boiling point with the performance but trying to pretend he wasn't. That's why he vented in some odd directions. On the plus side,he has been doing this job for many years and knows what he's doing and his appointment at least gave the club a much needed boost in morale and, lets not forget, season tickets.Time will tell whether your reservations were correct in that TS appointing Evans was more of a need of a comfort blanket rather than a detailed strategic plan with a mid to long term view.I have never been 100% convinced that sacking MT was the right thing to do.Only time will tell on that one as well.

I am starting to see comparisons with Darren Ferguson - Peterborough send for him when all else has failed, he is on his fourth spell there

Both had an average playing career, both Scottish and both Love Sir Alex while he barely knows they exist.

He blamed everyone but himself flour.
Calling out players publicly but saying he got the decision about the keepers right imo is not a good look.
It’s not just the shaking of hands.

I agree Yak but he was incandescent with rage about the performance but was trying not to show it.....in that sense, isn't that the type of manager fans should feel confident in ?

Not condoning what Evans did by not shaking hands as has been said we don’t know what went off during the game but Caldwell also obviously has a short fuse didn’t him and Zak Jules come to blows when he said he was leaving Exeter so maybe he’s not all sweetness and light either
