Agreed boingy, he would struggle vs top prem fullbacks atm, Let him grow and develop and then move on.

“Not for sale”……….unless someone stumps up massive money.

Exactly the right stance by the club.

I’m sure many on here will remember when we sold a young Enzo Maresca for around £4.3m which was massive money in around 2000.

We were financially strapped at that point and his sale balanced the books and created the base for what happened under Sir Gary.

This is a similar situation a quarter of a century later.

If Maresca was worth £4.3m 24 years ago I’m bloody certain Fellows is worth £30m now.

Totally agree! Fellows went missing in a number of games last season so let’s not get carried away. He’s very good but honestly think he would struggle in the Prem at the moment.

Whilst I hate to see any of our better players leave, come January it might be in the clubs best interest to sell, 15 -20 million would be about right, then we could invest in 3-4 players for the final push
Sadly every player has his price, going down the route of Brentford and the way they deal is a sound idea

You are right but if Fellows goes the replacement will be Wallace. That’s going backwards!

From Fellows’ point of view, I don’t see the advantage in moving to Southampton. There’s a fair chance that they will be relegated this season and that won’t help his progress. Unless a bigger club come in for him with a much bigger offer, it would be more advisable for him to stay where he is.

Ipswich have offered £11 million for Fellows and Everton are also interested. Watch this space.

Unfortunately, I can see this ending in a ridiculous £15m plus add on type sale by Friday night.

Ipswich should be a nonsense destination for Tom, I know Everton are struggling but I really hope that if he does go that it’s to a massive club and not a nonentity like Ipswich, Southampton or Palace.

It’s sad if he goes but for the club it will be great to get some real money in the bank. We are really benefiting from that ball in the box atm. If he does go that’s what needs replacing the most.
