Yep would be weird but if we pull the Hamer deal off (a very big if) it would not only mean that we were signing possibly the best midfielder in this league but would annoy Wildet and the Blunts enormously. All good from that perspective.

Tanaka seems to be close to a done deal and then not clear if we are signing a left back or utility defender and possibly one more attacking player.

Suspect that Tanaka means no Sallai.

Knew nothing about Bogle until this season. Seems almost decent up to now. Know nothing about Hamer. If both join from Blades, that will be pretty wild.

Hearing the Schmidt deal is off due to difference of opinion in fee.

As it stands , and given the players we have sold , its a tad disappointing transfer window in my opinion.

Schmidt is supposed to be on a plane to Yorkshire but who knows till it’s announced.

Surprised they haven’t announced Tanaka yet.

They really need to get either Hamer or Sallai done.

Bringing in Hamer with 15 mins to spare would really wind Wilder up too.

Would give them a B for the window so far.

Suppose the problem we have now is that it is widely known we are wedged up due to the players we have sold and any potential club we are dealing with will be playing hardball with us.

Agree hopey we need Hamer or Sallai .

However , signing Hamer with just 15 minutes of the window to go and Wilders face....feckin priceless
