Appreciate that it's not directed at me, but my answer is 'no idea'. Unless anyone has an advance on that, it seems to be something of a dry well as far as debate is concerned.
That being said, imprisonment is a factor that can be taken into account for deportation purposes and I have had several clients released by the prison service only to be taken into custody by the border agency for deportation.
That wouldn't have made a good story for the Express or Mail though.
