Absolutely right, no biggie at all…but debatable that I’m ‘incorrect’. What do you think ‘OP’ stands for?

I don't know what you lot are rabbiting on about, there's one easy way to define whether or not someone is English................ whatever the latest disaster, mass killing, plague or invasion from the planet Zod is occurring on meeting the said person if they're English they'll provide you with an updated weather report!
You know... 'hello there, not seen you lately, isn't it a nice day, weather man says we're in for a few warm days' Yep, they're English!

Lot of it happening where I am Mac, and worse than that folk are arguing about which weather app is the most accurate!

I think you missed respect for the flag, the village get together and a general feeling of Christianity in terms of values if not belief, all of which the majority here seem to believe to be under threat from a mix of well meaning and less well meaning ‘actors’

Hmmm…except that ‘respect for the flag’ isn’t remotely unique to England is it? The traditional village fete? Maybe more so, although there are plenty of those in other countries too and I’m not sure about the ‘general feeling of Christianity’…that’s certainly not unique to England either and as plenty on here regard religion with a mixture of blame and contempt (MA, GP and myself at least) as anything else I think I’ll stick with the tea drinking nation of weather obsessives as the closest we’ve got.
