Looking at next week's fixtures if we take anything from Paisley then it will be a decent outcome, I feel it's more winnable than today and would set us up nicely before the int break

Hearts are at Pittodrie on the Sunday after a midweek away in Europe and have lost something like 8 on the spin away to the sheep, we already have a game in hand on them and a couple others like St Johnstone, County and St Mirren

Then you have still winless Killie under more pressure to get a win away to the fun who now also need to arrest 3 defeats on the spin and only 1 win over top flight oppo this season (since March)

Hibs v Motherwell, hopefully Hibs on the back of a defeat tomorrow

    County v Celtic
    Rangers v Fermers

Still on the road but after the changes were made I thought we cld get something from the game. More direct. Only criticism about them for me is they should have been done a bit earlier.

I thought we really struggled especially 2nd half to deal with balls into our box which should be our bread and butter given the size of the 3 at the back.

Fair play to JG and the boys never gave up and itÂ’s a great point.
Totally agree about the high balls and Gallagher was obviously rattled by Vassell and lost his composure.Edged it first half but completely lost it for the first 20-25 mins. Of second half. After the subs were made there was only one team in it and perhaps had they been made earlier we might have nicked a fourth. Quite happy with a point though, would have taken it before the game started.
I think Willie Collum needs to take a long hard look at Craig Napier’s performance today. To be quite blunt he was absolutely clueless. Killie’s third goal was from a free kick awarded to them for a foul on Vassell when in fact he was fouling Gallagher. He must have played at least 30 seconds after Miller Thomson’s alleged foul. United were in continuous possession prior to Sibbald’s shot so if he thought it was a foul he should have blown immediately. He also very nearly blocked Sibbald’s shot. I’m not complaining but the pen at the death was never a pen and his positioning was questionable in it is debatable if he had a clear view of the incident. It looked very like as if he thought he had made a mistake for one side he evened things up. VAR got him out of a hole for the second goal.

For one reason or another, we seem unable to get a full 90 minutes out of this team. The fightback from today was great but we really need to be more consistent over 90 minutes. I am hoping that we already have our eyes on a wee tweak in January because I don't think we are miles away from getting the performances we are hoping for. I would say that overall this season, we are doing "alright!" but we need to consolidate our position in the top half of the league. Goodwin is still learning, the players are still learning. We are still a work in progress but we need to learn a bit faster! A good 90 minute performance from everyone should be our target against St Mirren.

We seemed to collapse, especially defensively, for 20-25 mins, after that its a bit of a role the dice nothing to lose with chucking on attacking players. Bit of a worry for me moving forward that defensive collapse. Are Adegboyega and Graham safe enough to play in a 4-4-2? I think a reason we are playing 3 centre halves is manager doesn't have full confidence in our centre halves. Not convinced you can play Gallagher in 4-4-2, his pace will be exposed.

Stephenson not the greatest technique, you would think he would have better skillset coming through the Liverpool academy, but he is tenacious, he has real grit and determination, involved in a few goals today to his credit after Mwell penalty, wonder if he could play in one of the def mid positions, provide more protection to 2 centre halves, put Sevelj at right back.

I’m no being funny here as we all generally have the same view on VAR, but if there’s to be consistency how the actual phuck has their third goal been given? Who’s drawing the lines here?

What surprise, a terrible decision by VAR.

If Stephenson Squares a simple cut back to Moult 10 minutes before he done it for our 1st goal then we are 2-0 up after 20 minutes. The cut back for our 1st goal was harder than the situation that came about 10 minutes earlier but was near enough a carbon copy. Fine lines but in saying that Killie had 2 good headed opportunity's in the 1st twenty minutes to score when Ferry fell asleep both times and never picked up the runner.

Great result in the end and a comeback I never seen coming 😁

Yes that first one Stephenson didn't cut back was very poor decision, but he's learning atleast, was involved in a lot yesterday which fair play after the costly mistake the previous week
