We’re average and are going nowhere this season.
What’s that saying you can fool some of the people all of the time etc that's aimed at SE not you but it’s true just the usual bull from him.
We’re average just like the manager pal unfortunately.
Have to disagree yak.. were above AVG for this division...
I said by the end of October we will be in the top 8 and still believe we will be.
We again had enough chances to win and whilst we only had around 30 percent of the possession we attacked with purpose. Posh 70 percent resulted in less chances at goal and less time in the opposition box.

As others have said I give up with hugill. I wouldn't even bother giving him a seat on the bench though again as others have said he will probably be captain against wrexham

We play percentage football a bit like ice hockey dump it in the corner and hope to win it near the net and feed off scraps.
Each to their own but for me it’s anti football. We have low possession because we aim it long and hope for the best at times. They get it back and we’re under pressure.
We’re not good to watch. We can’t defend that well.
It’s average not very pretty and looking at the table not that effective apart from an average position.
He’s also wasted some of the budget on average players too so overall I would say we’re a mid table average team.
Evans imo will leave us in a worse position than when he joined us and not just results wise.

That was the main method used by PW and we had probably the most successful period in our history in terms of cup wins and promotions.
None of the main achievements would have come to fruition without the attacking exploits and aggression of our centre half at that time.

Flour pal you can’t compare SE to PW, this season is awful tactics and honestly not very good at all to endure.
PW had his limitations I agree but I don’t enjoy going to watch this team at all under PW it was different pal.
It can change and may well do but I have to agree the after match comments from SE are becoming more embarrassing and deluded.
Don't necessarily agree that we are average but I’m finding all the bluster and usual spin from SE insulting to the paying supporters who really aren’t stupid.
I’ll always back the manager but I’m not seeing how yesterday as an example was anything other than another wasted opportunity and our weaknesses and sketchy recruitment are becoming more obvious.
He’s promised a lot and currently he’s not delivering but it’s a long season and things can change.

    Again disagree..
We were good to watch yesterday and both teams looked like they were going to score going forward.
I don't get the "we have low possession commens" Why have 80% possession when 75% of that is going sideways and in your own half. Like posh were yesterday.
Imo. If a winger gets to the byline I want the ball whipping into the box. Not pass pass pass with it ending up with the keeper.
I guess the season will tell but of we finish 13th then you will be right. We're AVG. If we finish top 10 were above AVG...
Again regarding Evans leaving us in a worst state than when he arrived. That's like saying starmer will leave the country in a worst state than when he arrived.
Both inherit a shÃ*t show and it can't be sorted in 3 months...

Yak. From the past 12 seasons at NYS. Which seasons stand out as the best ones?for me it's the season we beat Preston in the play offs and LO at Wembley... The football and recruitment was top class. Was it our best passing team. Probably not but it was enjoyable

Starmer he's making it better for people who wouldn't get off their arse to work. Rest of the pensioners who've worked with incomes below the national living wage can freeze their * off! Let's have a vote on here if you could turn the clock back six months would it have been Evans replacing Richardson? No from me now at the time looked better than what we had but he's failed us with his recruitment.

Still a lot of work to do pocket, im not suggesting otherwise.
It took PW quite a while too after inheriting a dire situation.
The goals from JCH and Wilks have been shown repeatedly on independent sporting sites over the weekend suggesting to the viewer to look at the quality of the finishing. I agree so I watched them all again. Exciting, edge of the seat stuff.

Further improvement required but SE already knows that

End to end, six goals and we went toe to toe with a fancied team on their own patch. Yes they had injuries but our best defender, best midfielder and our talisman striker weren’t available with the latter missing for part of the match .

Vast improvement from what was on show a few weeks ago. We haven’t lost for ages ( I’m ignoring the inevitable Birm defeat).
Defending not good enough yesterday which I am confident will be sorted on the training pitch
Some people have said we’re average. Average Town / United FC would not be able to give Peterborough the stern test that we did and let’s face it we should have won it with wonderful chances missed after they equalised
    Totally agree..it will get better..
It's been a team chucked together..give it time,..as for Dawson, great keeper..we've been spoilt with Victor..as for hugill, farewell Jordan..

I would agree with you about the best seasons both enjoyable and successful
We had a far better team then and I know the market was different then.
We did go long at times with Evans then but we also played with pace and wingers. Pringle and Tavernier bombing down the wing. Yes I know he was a fullback.
I don’t remember us aimlessly hitting it long though.
Yesterday Bramhall Oddifin and Tehi all on more than one occasion just hit it either out for a goal kick or to the keeper.
That has to be a tactic from Evans.
He’s already talking about another recruitment shake up.
Do we trust him to get us any better?
    I’m not convinced tbh.
I hope you are right Cayton and we improve.
I would be more than happy to come on and admit I got it wrong.
    All about opinions pal. 👍
