So a club apologist is someone who defends the club at every opportunity against negative comments and criticism and are nearly always positive. A bedwetter is someone who seeks to criticise and put a negative slant or highlight negatives at every opportunity and largely stay away from positivity and compliments.

A bit wrong there, a bed wetter is a label given to anyone who has the audacity to voice an opinion that is even remotely critical of the way we play (in particular). It doesn't matter if the point raised is blindingly obvious they will be labelled "Bedwetter".

I only have from the summer onwards but that appears an inaccurate definition. I believe it is broader than that.

I always thought bedwetter in a metaphorical sense meant somebody who was over dramatic and overly worried about events both historic and ones that are hypothetical and hadn’t even happened yet. I have seen plenty of examples of that on this website. I believe that is a common trait of football fans. Fear the worse and moan if it happens with sporadic bursts of happiness thrown in.
