Okay, Matt_Magpie - the reason I call you in particular an "apologist" is that you jump all over any post that isn't completely and absolutely in line with the party line (my posts in particular). Any comment that isn't wholly 100% positive must be ruthlessly crushed, the narrative restored and the poster diminished.

It was entirely predictable that you'd respond to my comment, despite the fact that it was almost entirely positive, but solely because it was only 95% positive, you swooped in with the opposite, rose-tinted perspective. You're not the only one by any means, but you're certainly the most prominent. It's borderline obsessive, if you ask me.

Perhaps if you weren't the way you are, the "apologist" tag may die out, but you're not going to change, so embrace it. I don't agree with you, you don't agree with me - let's just leave it at that.

Are you actually crackers? you labelled me an apologists pre-season in response to me saying things like, its not unusual to not have all business done by the first game of the season, lets see how these new players get on before we say their no good, etc etc etc.

Not once did I ruthlessly crush/diminish anyone not agreeing or put anyone in pigeon holes of "Bedwetters" or "Club apologists", the latter which you created to which I'm guessing was to "diminish" any poster who disagrees with you.

As for rose tinted, if we played bad I say, if the owners a joke I say, but I don't sign up to the constant negativity, maybe a little too much on the optimistic side but its hardly a bad thing.
